Mama opened the children's book to ask for a good night story from my son. Jas, sitting beside mama, talked animatedly about the story of the book which he knows by heart.
Then Lola interrupted by asking Jas to read the book not just the usual pretend game that they were doing.
Jas fell silent for a moment. He knows how to identify letters but not the words. So he looked at his lola and said that for the time-being he is a dog: a puppy to be exact.
Then he browsed through the book and read outloud: BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK.
My mama laughed so hard as she patted my son's head. Smart dog.
