Through the Window

The Billboard model smiled back at me. It was early morning and the road below was dump from the morning dew. Small dots of people are starting to crowd the nearby building. The passenger jeepneys honked their horns as a wake up call. My eyes moved towards the horizon -- the sun greeted me with its yellow-orange rays and the clouds reflected its radiance. Soon it will cover the land with its warmth and brightness.

I yawned and decided to close the curtain. Like a television show, the room turned dark again, and the Sun and the busy city would not bother me yet.
