I had may fair share of waves last week. I don't usually plunge in front of the deep sea, but the waves in the ocean was inviting. It was cold -- too cold for my shaking body. But I let my body be absorbed by the water. It took minutes for my brain to calibrate my senses, until I got numb enough for hypothermia.
Then when I was about to get up and surrender from the thermal battle, the wind blew like a joke. I stood there freezing from defeat and felt like the solemn sunset laughing at me. I laughed back and walked away feeling colder but happier.
