A few months ago, I emailed an article for the 100kwentongpeyups article in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Two days after that, I got a reply confirming that my email reached the recipient -- but nothing more than that; Howeve today as I checked my friendster account, an old friend from College sent me the following messages:
Hi, kuya ryan!
kumusta na? nabasa namin dito sa sand
ung article mo sa inquirer. hehe. natuwa kami.
ingat & God bless sa buong family mo :)
I stared at the message with disbelief thinking 'How come I'm always the last one to know ?' and the feeling was suddenly replaced with the thought that my work got published. I told Jody "YEHEY, napublish work ko sa Inquirer"
Hi, kuya ryan!

I stared at the message with disbelief thinking 'How come I'm always the last one to know ?' and the feeling was suddenly replaced with the thought that my work got published. I told Jody "YEHEY, napublish work ko sa Inquirer"
Then she asked the dreaded question "Yehey! Anong issue?"
Gulp, I don't know.
So we bought the current Inquirer issue and found nothing about UP. "Baka weekend issue", Jody said. Then she pointed out that our old professor friend kept on pointing out that Jajas was my Thesis as a joke. That was last week when we went to UP to attend a friends' wedding. He must've read the article, she added.
So here I am searching the net for back issues...sigh. Help. :)

The article I submitted was an old blog I wrote last year. Hope you'll enjoy it!
